The Milkfish Lady has partnered with the International Game Fish Association (IGFA) on their initiative to teach 100,000 kids to fish in locations around the globe to help build a new generation of educated, ethical and accomplished anglers commemorating their 80th anniversary next year.

We are proud to have hosted the first IGFA Youth Angling event in Asia on November 10, 2018, adding another continent working to help IGFA reach its goal along with North America, South America, Europe and Australia.

Join us for an Introduction to Sport Fishing held on weekends around Asia and be a part of angling history. This is a chance for families to get outdoors and learn responsible, ethical angling practices, while having great fun catching and releasing fish!

Each child will receive a Certificate of Participation from the IGFA, a special edition T-Shirt and a Fishing Log Card with the complete data and photograph of their first catch of the day.

As our team is currently the only IGFA Youth Education Partner in Asia, we have decided to expand the training to incorporate more countries into the initiative. Upcoming training sessions are happening in Singapore, Indonesia and Thailand. Check back on this page for dates and information of the event happening in your city!

If you are a representative from a school or children’s club interested in the program, please contact us for more information.

Founded in 1939, the International Game Fish Association is a non-profit organization committed to the conservation of game fish and the promotion of responsible, ethical angling practices through science, education, rule making, record keeping and recognition of outstanding accomplishments in the field of angling.
