Books and Fishing would rarely be mentioned together unless it’s a book on fishing. Our goal is to preserve the adventures, research, discoveries and stories around Fishing, old and new, so Asia will have its own archive and historical data to look back on for our future generations to understand the sport and hobby of fishing, better.
Our first publication, Insang (Gills in Malay) is entering its second book in 2025. Written in Malay, this book serves as a tool to create awareness and spark interest amongst Malaysians, to eliminate the notion that fishing is an old man’s hobby, or a sport that is fishy in both scent and intention. Anglers in Malaysia go on adventures that many do not know of, in places many may not traverse, Insang takes readers on this journey and delights readers with insight of what Sport Fishing is truly about.
