HOLIDAY DAY-CAMP

Suitable for children aged 9 to 16, our Holiday Day-Camp is a complete Sport Fishing Training session starting with Barramundi from a Fishing Pond on our Beginner session and ends with a Sailfish from a Deep Sea Trip on our Advance session.

First of its kind in Asia, our complete training session imparts knowledge and ethical angling skills, from understanding fishing gear, reading water and weather to the difference of fishing for Saltwater and Freshwater fish, our young anglers come out of our sessions ready to continue the sport and make a difference.

Adhering to regulations set forth by the International Game Fish Association (IGFA), your child will be ready to attempt a world record if they are keen. A sport that takes children outdoors, away from their gadgets, honing hand-eye coordination, focus, patience and problem solving skills; fill up the form below if you are keen to sign your child up on our next holiday session.

PASSPORTS TO FISHING

The Milkfish Lady is an education partner of the International Game Fish Association (IGFA) and our founder is the Malaysian Representative for the IGFA. Our sessions incorporate the Passports to Fishing program, an initiative to teach 100,000 kids to fish around the globe to help build a new generation of educated, ethical and accomplished anglers, commemorating the IGFA’s 80th anniversary.

We are proud to have hosted Asia’s first IGFA Passport to Fishing event on November 10, 2018. Since then, the initiative has grown far and wide, education partners around the world have trained more than 50,000 children worldwide.

Through the Education Kit flown directly from the IGFA Headquarters in Florida, your child will be introduced to world class angling education covering Basic Tackle, Conservation, Stewardship and more. Every child will receive a Certificate of Participation from the IGFA once they have completed the Passport to Fishing program whilst fishing with us on our Family-Friendly sessions (Tour) or Holiday Day-Camps (see above).

Your child will not just learn ethical angling skills but also catch and release Barramundi, have fun, make new friends and be 1 of 100,000 ethical young anglers worldwide. Fish with us and the IGFA!
